Shanghai Ganquan Foreign Language Middle School is a public school established in early 1954 with a high school system. It is a characteristic ordinary high school in Shanghai, a civilized unit in Shanghai, a demonstration school of the UNESCO Sustainable Development Education Project (ESD), a designated cooperative school of the German DSDII language project by the German government, a national Hanban base, a Shanghai Overseas Chinese Affairs Office base, and a national demonstration school for school sports work.
