Tangshan Maritime Institute is a provincial-level full-time ordinary higher vocational college approved by the People’s Government of Hebei Province and registered with the Ministry of Education. The school is located on the west central coast of Bohai Sea, in Beijing Caofeidian International Vocational Education City, Caofeidian District, Tangshan City. It is the only international characteristic college in China established by UNESCO as a “World Vocational and Technical Education and Training Base”. The school campus covers an area of 605 acres with a building area of 280000 square meters. The school has invested over 2 billion yuan to build a new campus with beautiful environment and first-class facilities.
The school has 9 teaching units, including the College of Ocean Engineering, the College of Transportation, the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, the College of Business and Tourism, the College of Intelligent Engineering, the College of International Education, the College of Marxism, the College of Sports and Arts, and the Jianggu Technical School. We offer more than 40 majors including ship electrical engineering technology, navigation technology, aquaculture technology, industrial robot technology, cross-border e-commerce, big data technology, airport operation services and management.
