About Yuncheng University
Yuncheng University (YCU) is a public university located in Yuncheng, Shanxi, China. It was founded in 1978 by merging three institutions: Yuncheng Teachers College, Yuncheng Education College, and Hedong University. It is under the jurisdiction of the Shanxi Provincial People’s Government and offers a wide range of academic programs in economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture, management, and art.
YCU has four campuses in Fudan, Hedong, Kexue, and Huaqiao, covering an area of 3089 acres. YCU has about 1000 full-time faculty members, 92.88% of whom have master’s or doctoral degrees. YCU also has 51 provincial-level high-level talents, including one academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. YCU has about 20,000 undergraduate students and 600 postgraduate students from 31 provinces and municipalities across China. YCU is committed to serving the local and national economic and social development, and has established close cooperation with local governments and enterprises in various fields.
